A Cinderella Incinerating Toilet burns waste at very high temperatures inside a sealed incineration chamber, using a liner for each use. The resulting steam and vapours pass through a catalytic converter and exit through a dedicated vent pipe, separate from the bathroom. What’s left after each cycle is a small amount of sterile ash (about a teacup’s worth for four people over a week of use) with nothing to store, compost, or transport off-site.
