About Incinerating Toilets Inc.

Bringing Cinderella Incinerating Toilets from Norway to Canadian cottages, cabins, camps, and off-grid homes since 2017.

Incinerating Toilets Inc. is a small but mighty Canadian team based in Minden, Ontario, helping property owners across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec discover a cleaner, simpler alternative to septic systems, composting toilets, and black water tanks.

We specialize in Cinderella incinerating toilets – premium waterless toilets designed for cottages, cabins, bunkies, tiny homes, remote properties, off-grid buildings, RVs, and other spaces where traditional plumbing is expensive, impractical, or just plain impossible.

In other words, we help Canadians finally stop planning their entire cottage experience around “the bathroom situation.”

How Incinerating Toilets Inc. Started

When our owner, Tim Kegel, first discovered Cinderella Incineration Toilets, he had one big question:

How have these toilets been used in Norway for decades, and yet hardly anyone in Canada knows about them?

Having grown up in cottage country, Tim has seen a lot of waterless toilet solutions come and go, so he was skeptical that it would actually work as advertised.

So, he decided to put it to the test.

After taking it apart to understand how it works, Tim installed a Cinderella in the shop where his employees would load up their vans before heading out for the day.

It didn’t take long for him to realize what all of our customers say:

This is a game changer.

So, he started the process of becoming a Cinderella distributor.

Cinderella incinerating toilets are waterless, low maintenance, clean, and odourless. Instead of flushing waste into a septic system or storing it in a composting chamber, a Cinderella toilet incinerates waste into a small amount of sterile ash. No plumbing, no blackwater, no smell. No “who’s emptying the composting toilet?” family meeting.

Thousands of Canadians later, we’re still here doing what we set out to do: helping people enjoy their vacation spots more.

Why choose Cinderella over other incinerating toilets?

Cinderella Eco Group is based in Norway, where incinerating toilet technology has been trusted for decades in cabins, remote homes, various commercial industries and environmentally sensitive areas.

25+ years of refinement

Cinderella has spent over 25 years refining incineration toilet technology, combining Scandinavian design with modern safety features, reliable performance, and user-friendly operation.

The result is a toilet that feels surprisingly normal to use, except it doesn’t need water, plumbing, a septic field, or a hole in the ground.

Independently tested in Canada

Independent Canadian testing by the New Brunswick Research and Productivity Council found that the Cinderella toilets tested were among the easiest to use, most consistent in performance and construction quality, and highly efficient. The report also noted that the Cinderella Comfort and Cinderella Freedom completed heavy-use testing successfully, which is an important consideration for families and busy cottage weekends.

That matters because when you are installing a toilet at a remote property, reliability is not a “nice to have.” It’s the whole point.

Some are avoiding a costly septic installation. Some don’t want to worry about a black water tank anymore. Some are done with the maintenance of a composting toilet. Some just want their guests to stop dreading the bathroom.

Whatever the reason, our goal is the same: help you find the right waterless toilet solution.

TKTim KegelOwner

Tim is the one who first discovered Cinderella and immediately thought, “More Canadians need to know about this.” He started the process of becoming a Cinderella distributor and has been helping bring this technology to Canadian property owners ever since. He’s also the owner of Kegel Heating & Cooling, a family business that has been a staple in the Haliburton Highlands for decades.

LPLinda PinelliOffice Manager

Linda keeps the whole ship running. Orders, questions, details, logistics – if it needs to happen, Linda probably already has it handled (likely because she’s raised all boys). She also has her own Cinderella (travel model) installed in her trailer at Haliburton Forest, which is where you’ll find her every weekend in the summer.

DRDaniel RobertsSales Manager

Daniel is often the friendly and knowledgeable voice customers speak to when they call to ask if a Cinderella incinerating toilet is right for their property. He helps customers understand the models, installation requirements, and best fit for their setup. He’s also the one you’ll see shivering at the Spring Cottage Life Show because he isn’t used to our cold winters since he and his family moved to Belize. We make fun of him, but we’re kind of jealous.

CVCole VandenbergService Technician

Cole is our service tech and has earned a reputation for going above and beyond for customers. When people say our support team is responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable, Cole is a big part of that. He is recently married, and it’s a good thing he already worked for us before popping the question. We don’t know a lot of wives that would put up with someone that brings toilets home every night.

AWAutumn WilsonMarketing Manager

Autumn writes the content, manages the marketing, and yes, keeps putting a camera in everyone’s face. Someone has to make toilets look exciting on the internet, and frankly, she’s doing her best. While she lived in the Haliburton Highlands for ten years, she recently moved to Thunder Bay with her husband so they can enjoy real Canadian winters (crazy, we know).

We may be a small team, but we are hands-on, experienced, and deeply familiar with the real questions Canadian property owners have before choosing an incinerating toilet.

Our team provides product guidance, installation support, troubleshooting, replacement parts, accessories, and real-world advice based on Canadian properties and Canadian conditions.

Our customers often mention our team by name, describing the service as responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and above and beyond.

And yes, we still answer the phone like actual people. Wild concept, we know.

Helping Canadians Enjoy Their Properties More

At the end of the day, we’re not just selling toilets.

We’re helping people:

✓Spend more time at the cottage.

✓Host guests more comfortably.

✓Add bathrooms where plumbing doesn’t exist.

✓Avoid expensive septic headaches.

✓Replace composting toilets that are high maintenance.

✓Travel further because there’s no need to empty the black water tank.

A Cinderella incinerating toilet can make your space feel more comfortable, modern, and usable, without changing the landscape of the property or taking on a major septic project.

That’s why we do what we do.

And yes, we are fully aware that being this passionate about toilets is a little weird.

We’re okay with it.
